Climate Health Adaptation Planning in Michigan - Training for Local Planners and Decision Makers

In May and June, LIAA planners are offering a 3-hour training session in several locations around Michigan to raise awareness about the health impacts of climate change, populations most vulnerable to such impacts, and what other communities are doing to address similar challenges.

The training is intended for local and regional planners, developers, environmental stewards, and other interested individuals who wish to explore the intersection between public health, climate change, and land use planning policy.

More information about the training is available here.
